Exploratory Factor Analysis: Development of Perceived Peer Pressure Scale
Abstract:

This article is mainly focusing on the procedure adopted to develop and validate a tool to study higher secondary students' perceived peer pressure. Based on the review of related literature and group discussion, initially the researcher generated 50 items on perceived peer pressure and subsequently modified in to 35 items on the basis of experts' opinion. The first try-out on 100 higher secondary students resulted in selection of 30 items and Cronbach’s Alpha value was found to be 0.942. Again the tool was administered to 300 higher secondary students and based on the factor analysis the 30 items were categorized under three dimensions. The dimensions are: Yielding to Peer Pressure, Resistance to Peer Pressure and Peers Encouragement. The reliability and validity value of the final tool was found to be 0.942 and 0.971 respectively. Hence, the perceived peer pressure scale is found to be valid for application.

Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics
Abstract:
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an essential tool, which usually uses numerical methods for developing approximations of the governing equations of fluid mechanics in the fluid region of interest. It sufficiently predicts fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, chemical reactions, andrelated phenomena by solving the mathematical equations which govern these processes using numerical methods. Applying the fundamental laws of mechanics to a fluid, a set of coupled non linear partial differential equations is obtained. For most engineering problems these equations are solved analytically. Considering physical characteristics of fluid such as conservation of matter, momentum, and energy etc. throughout the region of interest of that fluid mathematical models are composed. In order to solve easily the simplifying assumptions are made for appropriate initial and boundary
conditions for the problem. To solve the fundamental equation of fluid dynamics, the Navier-Stokes equation and continuity equation, appropriate initial conditions and boundary conditions must be need to be applied. In spite of this, computational fluid dynamics can be used in the many areas of food processing industries for drying, sterilization, mixing, refrigeration etc. Drying is a common food manufacturing process.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Sericulture Knowledge Management: Case of Indian Sericulture
Abstract:
In India, sericulture is not only a tradition but also a living culture. It is a farm-based, labour intensiveand commercially attractive economic activity falling under the cottage and small-scale sector. It particularly suits rural-based farmers, entrepreneurs and artisans as it requires low investment but with potential for relatively higher returns. Though the sector has registered an impressive growth during the last few decades, however, a number of factors have limited sericulture from achieving its true potential. Those factors may include insufficient capital and investment incentives, low level of technology dissemination, poor extension support, inadequate farm infrastructure, limited market and stagnant prices of sericultural products etc. In this paper,an attempt has been made to understand the importance of ICT in knowledge management particularly concentrating the case of Indian sericulture. Finally, an integrated model linking ICT with entire production chain of sericulture is suggested to establish close linkage between forward and backward sub-systems for greater efficiency and synergy

Significance of Limiting Current Density by Influence of the Process Parameter for the Electrodeposition System
Abstract:
In this investigation, the process parameters for the electrodeposition of zinc has been carried out using direct current. Cathode current efficiency (CCE%) and deposit thickness were determined by weight measurement method. Manipulation of current density on the deposition process was also investigated. Effect of temperature on the deposition process and deposit morphology was also studied. Cathodic polarisation and Bath agitation measurements were used to study the mass transport conditions of the electrolytic bath. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopes were utilised to study the morphologies of the deposits. Temperature and pH changes had marked influence on the morphology of the deposits. It was observed that cathode current efficiency was dependent on the current density and bath temperature, while deposit thickness was dependent on current density, bath agitation and time. Cathodic polarisation studies revealed that bath agitation and composition
had significant effect on the limiting current density and hence mass transport of the bath.

Research Paper on Media Responsibility in Nation Development
Abstract:

The media, with specific reference to the collective entity of newspapers, radio, television and the International Network (Internet), play a very important role in development. It involves changes or advancement in a nation aimed at improving the political, economic and social lives of the people. The real influence of the media in development will depend on the media themselves, the societies in which they operate, and the audience they reach. None of these factors are the same everywhere, at all times, or under all conditions. The media in dictatorships, for example, media is not likely to exercise the same influence as it has to work in social development and do media complete its responsibility in nation development. This paper focuses on the role of media in nation development. The paper mentioned the role of media in development of society is depend upon their independence, freedom, and the ability to effectively communicate objective, balanced, fair and professional information to both government and the general public. There is no doubt that the topic is very wide, therefore analysis will be limited to conventional media: newspapers, radio, television and the Internet. The paper involves a comparative analysis of media contents, methods or styles of presentation, and the environment in which the media operate

Ensemble Classifier based on Optimized Feature Matrix for Healthcare Dataset
Abstract:

The mining of health care data is important aspect for the forecast of critical disease like cancer. In health care data mining various tools and techniques are available and applicable from machine learning. Machine Learning offers popular effective technique of classification for the purpose of mining voluminous dataset of health care. This paper implements the different traditional classifiers decision tree, k-nearest neighbor, support vector machine and modified ensemble classifier random forest for classification of health/diseased entities from the UCI data set for Cancer. The paper proposes the feature matrix extracted from majority voting ensemble classifier random forest mapped to SVM. Then it is implemented on three variations of cancer data set. Random forest shows the great results in terms of reduction in features, overfitting by averaging several tree, and also algorithm show less variance by using multiple tree, reduce the chance of stumbling across a classifier that doesn’t perform well because of the relationship between train and test data. In Random Forest, randomness is introduced by identifying the best split feature from a random subset of available features. These available important features further classified by powerful supervised machine learning algorithm named support vector machine. The main purpose of feature selection approach is to select a minimal and relevant feature subset for the given dataset and maintaining its original representation. This approach enhances the performance of SVM classifier and give rise to modified the majority vote ensemble classifier. The proposed hybrid mechanism of random forest feature matrix and SVM classification has shown 1.3% increment in accuracy for reduced cancer data set and this is verified from three reduced cancer data sets. This paper also demonstrates better accuracy of proposed ensemble classifier by comparative analysis with existing classifiers mechanism.
