Title:
Significance of Limiting Current Density by Influence of the Process Parameter for the Electrodeposition System
Abstract:
In this investigation, the process parameters for the electrodeposition of zinc has been carried out using direct current. Cathode current efficiency (CCE%) and deposit thickness were determined by weight measurement method. Manipulation of current density on the deposition process was also investigated. Effect of temperature on the deposition process and deposit morphology was also studied. Cathodic polarisation and Bath agitation measurements were used to study the mass transport conditions of the electrolytic bath. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopes were utilised to study the morphologies of the deposits. Temperature and pH changes had marked influence on the morphology of the deposits. It was observed that cathode current efficiency was dependent on the current density and bath temperature, while deposit thickness was dependent on current density, bath agitation and time. Cathodic polarisation studies revealed that bath agitation and composition
had significant effect on the limiting current density and hence mass transport of the bath.

Capillary Water Provision System for Irrigation
Abstract:
Water provision system using capillary action is a restoration propagation operation. The capillary action occurs due to the combined effect of three phenomena’s namely cohesion, adhesion, and surface tension. This is a low cost approach to supply an efficient and continuous source of moisture to plants. A variety of materials can be used to construct this system. In this study, a system has been designed and water is allowed to reach the root of plants through capillary action. For the betterment of water transfer, a porous material is embedded into the system. Using this system water can be provided to a certain height without the aid of mechanical devices like motor and pump. This method can be used to provide water to small plants and also to large plants in their initial growing stages. This largely helps in reducing wastage of water and helps in efficient use of water especially in water scarce regions. This system can be modified for more applications in the future.

Rapid changes in the field of software engineering have increased the requirement of designing and developing of extremely complex software systems. These tasks are performed by software engineers. Software engineers working in application development have to deeply analyze users’ needs and requirements and build software systems that meet the needs of the users. They must possess excellent problem solving skills. They must also have strong programming skills. While teaching introductory programming courses for over a decade in reputed institutions we have experienced that several factors play significant role in developing problem solving skills and program development skills in students. There are certain types of difficulties that are encountered by the beginners. These difficulties vary in their nature. Beginners find difficulties with the programming language that they use, the compilers that they use and so on. These difficulties if not overcome proves detrimental to
their career as professional engineers at a later stage. This paper focuses on the various types of difficulties that a novice programmer faces while learning programming and tries to find out ways to overcome them.

Simulink Model Based Fish Disease Analysis
Abstract:
To identify diseased fishes are at early stage to prevent and spreading diseases. This study deals with histogram of the images of diseased fish. Taken four Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome (EUS) diseased fish images as a case study to evaluated the proposed approach. The technique are implemented using Matlab and Simulink. This design is analysed and tested in Matlab Simulink R2011a.The model is generated using Matlab software.
